Is there a deadline to pay dues?

Can I attend rehearsals before paying?
Yes! New members are welcome to try out a few rehearsals before committing. We want you to feel confident about joining before you pay.
What if I cannot afford dues?
We never want finances to be a barrier to making music. If you're experiencing financial hardship, please reach out to us at hello@jfouiuc.com to discuss options.
Are membership dues refundable?
Membership dues are treated as charitable contributions to support JFO's mission and are non-refundable. Every dollar goes directly toward keeping our music community thriving — from rehearsal spaces and sheet music to the concerts we share with the UIUC community. That's why we encourage new members to attend a few rehearsals before paying, so you can be sure JFO is the right fit for you.

Absolutely. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor trusted by millions of businesses worldwide. JFO never sees or stores your card details.
